A portable application can be run from a removable drive (USB flash drive, iPod, portable hard drive, etc) on any Windows computer without installation.You will carry the program with settings on removable drive and don't modify settings on host computer.On Vista and above turn off User Account Control (UAC) or run launcher as admin.
GoldWave v5.55 Portable
Hi, I do have problems with this portable installation. It stops working every time it reaches the extracion of GoldWave.xml file.I tried it on two different PCs and same problem on both of them.Win 7 Pro 64bit with last upgrades from MS. Is it only my problem?
I tested drag'n drop in two way:1 - Goldwave portable launched, drag'n drop in the gray empty window: audio file loaded.2 - Goldwave portable closed, drag'n drop of audio file on launcher in explorer: Goldwave portable start with audio file loaded.If you start directly GoldWave.exe in App you lost registration and let settings in registry. 2ff7e9595c
